Education:
Dr. Morehead graduated from the University Of Tennessee College Of Pharmacy in 1971, and then worked as a pharmacist for seven years.  She went to UNC College of Dentistry and graduated in 1982 with Honors.  She practiced dentistry in Raleigh for four years and then moved to Wake Forest.  She has been in the dental profession for 28 years.  She is a member of the Wake County Dental Society and the American Dental Association.  She makes it a priority to continually update her dental knowledge through personal study and through dental seminars in Chicago, Cleveland, Florida, South Carolina, and locally here in North Carolina.  She also maintains her yearly CPR Certification.  She takes pride in the way the dental practice has evolved over the years.  She believes patients must first understand their dental needs before they can make an informed decision about what they want to do. 

Personal:
Dr. Morehead has been Ballroom dancing for several years and has competed in Charlotte, Las Vegas, and Manhattan.  She creates mosaics with shells, an art known as “Sailor’s Valentine.”  She is an avid reader and is especially interested in the role of nutrition on health.  She lifts weights , has a cat named Calvin and a canary named Yanni.
